Fred Hirschman (b. 1992) is a photographer and educator currently based in Laramie, Wyoming.  His work is primarily focused on the American landscape, exploring how it is changed and inhabited, and the ways we (humans) co-exist with and within it.  Fred holds an MFA in Photography from The Savannah College of Art and Design (2017).

From 2019 to 2024, Fred was an Assistant Lecturer in Photography at The University of Akron, and an an Adjunct Instructor in Visual Communications at Cuyahoga Community College. In 2024 he relocated to Laramie, where he is the Communications Coordinator for the University of Wyoming Art Museum.
